Product Analyst II

Serve as liaison between customers, marketing and development during the development cycle for product creation or enhancements.  You will develop complex functional specifications to assist in development activities such as user interface designs, documentation, training, testing, and functional reviews. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Utilizes VersionOne to analyze requests, write and prioritize stories with detailed development deliverables. 
  • Serves as liaison between Client Services, Training and Development to evaluate and troubleshoot reported customer issues.
  • Gathers and documents functional, system and data requirements.
  • Interfaces with Sales, Training and Client Services departments.
  • Participates in scrum ceremonies including daily stand ups, grooming, planning and retrospectives.
  • Reviews completed development for accuracy and product consistency.
  • Assists with user interface design and documentation.
  • Assists with development of training materials used to train the end user, if requested.
  • Assesses available technologies and recommends solutions to development team.

What Experience You’ll Need to Have:

 

  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, design, and implementation with a specialized knowledge of assigned applications.
  • Good analytical and design skills at multiple product levels.
  • Good skills in research and analysis, project planning, and implementation.
  • Good understanding of entire development process including specifications, documentation and quality assurance.
  • Good understanding of business issues and how they impact overall project plans.

 

What Education You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business or mathematics.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4+ years’ experience in product development and/or product support.
  • Relevant experience plus an AS degree may substitute for Bachelor’s degree.
