Assistant Product Manager - Powerline

As an Assistant Product Manager, you will assist the Product Manager with characterizing business needs and end user requirements, assists in guiding to development team to deliver required features, collaborates with customers, internal stakeholders, and vendors.  You will also assist with managing technical partnerships, maintaining contracts, and overseeing cross departmental projects.

 What You'll Be Doing:

  • Works with Product Manager and Development Manager to prioritize the backlog based on value to internal and external customers, product vision, and strategic needs of Smith Technologies.
  • Works collaboratively with cross functional teams that include sales, development, quality assurance, and operations to define and deliver solutions.
  • Becomes a subject matter expert while working with the Agile team throughout the product development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure feature integrity and quality.
  • Assists in managing communications and relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ensure project and/or product documentation is created and updated as needed.
  • Creation of processes and procedures for new lines of business.
  • Tracks the market/industry development and trends and recommends solutions to improve and further develop the current suite of services, including product differentiators.
  • Assists in leading the product line, from conception and strategic planning through requirements definition, development, launch, and post launch customer satisfaction.
  • Assists in tracking and managing product metrics, including P&L.

What Education and Experience You'll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, informatics or applicable field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, with specific knowledge of independent pharmacy business solutions.
